More waiting

Questions on my mind this morning after learning that I will be called back "for more tests".

  • What percentage of people evaluated at Surrey and Borders got called back for more tests?
  • What percentage of people evaluated at Surrey and Borders who got called back for more tests then got refused a diagnosis of ASD?
  • What percentage of people evaluated at Surrey and Borders who got called back for more tests were called in order to provide evidence to back up an existing putative positive diagnosis of ASD?

Plus many others in a similar vein. I want all of the statistics so that I can form an opinion on the probability that I will eventually receive a diagnosis.

I will stop thinking about this again at some point. This is now a Marathon not a Parkrun, and I'm at mile 20.

  • I’m afraid that I don’t have any statistics for you but I am really sorry that your assessment process is being dragged out even more, as I know that you were really hoping to get your diagnosis sooner rather than later. It’s almost impossible to stop thinking about it too. Do you know how long you have until your next appointment?
