Hello everyone, I am new here and have recently been referred for an ASD assessment (aged 41), and awaiting a formal diagnosis (which as I have heard could take until the next millenia).

I wanted to find out from others what have your experiences been if you are working full-time? I presently work full-time and get so drained by the end of the day due to many sensory and noise factors, anybody have any tips or advice to share. Thank you in advance :)

When I worked full-time I'd suffer from serious burnout and was constantly stressed from the lack of down time. I now work 30 hours a week with Weds off, I need this recovery time to be able to perform on Thurs and Fri.

I think I am at this very stage of burnout. I work up to 40hours a week, sometimes more if I am not able to leave work on time. I am hoping to ask for some reasonable adjustments, but I am worried because I have not hd my formal diagnosis yet, and my manager may refuse my request.
