Driving glare from lights

Hi all.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, i can't seem to search for past posts.

My brother (44yrs old) over the past year is finding it increasingly difficult to drive at nighttime.

Glare from headlights, signs etc plus general definition of signage and pinpointing, for example, an exit on a motorway - He isn't dangerous but could do with being able to not be so very concentrated.

His eyesight has been checked (he does have mild glaucoma, which doesn't help i'm sure).

Would anyone with this difficulty, or experience of someone please be able to give me some tips or advice that i can pass onto my brother?

He has tried the yellow lenses glass and can't get on with them....thanks for your time,

Ruth.

  • Hi, I gave up with the anti glare coating offered by opticians as I really found it no use but I know other people have had success with it.

The best thing I found was a pair of fishing sunglasses my brother gave me they are a cross between normal sunglasses and the yellow ones, so gave the best of both
