Does anybody else have a strange obsession with snow and all things cold!
I love snow and anything to do with it winter, cold weather, books and films, I love the quiet that comes with it. Anybody else have this strange fixation?

I love the snow, and winter, hate the sun and hot weather. I’m a lorry driver, gets a bit scary in the snow when you’re in a 44t lorry, very much adds to the anxiety.
Still no snow. So I'm posting an old image.
Surprisingly satellite reception was unaffected.
I like looking at it from the warmth of a house, find it pretty but not good with cold conditions as i have Reynaud's disease, so I freeze easily even in warm conditions
And the glow of the orange streetlights into the thick grey sky. Takes me back to being age 5 when i first really saw PROPER thick snow. I love that feeling and can conjure it most times if the snowy sky is right. Lovely.
I like this sound of silence accompanied with how the landscape changes silently in front of your eyes
I love waking up and seeing the luminous white light that means it has snowed! I also love the purpley grey clouds that tell me it is going to snow some more, and the way snow tastes. I had a recipe once for ice cream made from snow!
I like the quiet of the snow, it's the only time the world is completely quite, it also means Christmas and warmth and lovely movies.
I miss snow and winters I remember from my childhood. I used to think of myself as “winter’s daughter” back then
I love the sound of snow falling. Especially if there’s no wind, just snow falling gently on the grass and trees.
Or sound of snow crunching under the boots.
I like how the trees look like covered with snow.
Icicles. Or frost. The patterns it makes on the cars.
I like the darkness that comes early in winter and quietness of the winter evenings.
