Hello, my ASD son (33) has lived abroad with his dad and is returning to the UK. I need to catch up on EVERYTHING... My first concern is living accommodation options and I need to get in touch with a financial advisory service who really has the knowledge and understanding about how best to protect vulnerable people. All help really very very welcome, Catherine
You really need to find out what help is available locally. My experience is that there is nothing. It depends on the level of help needed tbh.

Like I said - you need to work out exactly what is needed. When you say accommodation options - what sort of accommodation? In my area there are no housing options for most levels of ASD unless daily support is needed. Which leaves you with needing to apply for PIP or other benefits. Most claims come to nothing unless you are prepared to fight for a year and go to court hearings.
