Self-actualization, autism and ageing

I have been thinking a lot about the meaning of life (I always do, but this intensifies as I approach the New Year and another birthday). Maslow's hierarchy of needs fascinates me, and as I get older I think more about self-actualization.

It occurred to me that my recent ASD diagnosis is an important step in achieving a positive old age. There's a new test to assess self-actualization here - I just took it and was surprised by my high score.

When I took the test it occurred to me that some of my autistic traits actively promote self-actualization. It would be interesting to know what you think about this.

Here is a link to the Self-actualization test, just in case you want to take it:

  • Greetings... I had chance, and tried this Link. Why does it require Birth Year and Initials of the Name?

    I scored 124.

'Based on 522 others', '71.44% Higher.'

    Acceptance,  Purpose,  Good Moral Intuition.

...Sounds like I have a lot of determination and feel good about it...? Good thing I have that 'Moral Intuition', to keep it in check, I think. The lowest was Equanimity... so I am running away after Posting this, now... (!)
