Success, they say is getting up one more time than you’ve fallen down.

I’ve tried to spare you my presence as much as possible recently as I’ve been struggling up life’s hills.

After three months of trying to sort out a diagnostic appointment I finally gave a date.

in terms of trying to free myself from an abusive relationship, I’ve made contact with support groups

in terms of making headway in a new job, I’m working hard and making progress

i am aspie, and am Munro bagging life. For those that have supported me I give great thanks. For those who’ve blindsighted this struugle may I remind you that such a response is ok.

I hope soon that I will have climbed every mountain as have been for many years, and may get some peace and opportunity to finally be me.

  • 486 of them! Crikey! I’m nearly 44 years old, I thought I was nearly finished! 

    Writing a thank you card for my GP today. After referring me at the end of August for an assessment and me spending three months trying to book an assessment on a phone line that no one picked up, I had to do my own research. It turned out that I needed to be referred using a different methodology. The GP needed to write a letter to say why he thought I needed to be referred. So, I wrote to my GP explaining the process and attached 36 pages of evidence (biographical stuff, AQ scores, details of where I struggle). 

    The assessment centre had said if they weren’t convinced then I would not be considered for assessment. Luckily I got through...
