How do you tell someone on an online dating site that you're not that into them?

A lady waved at me on an online dating site. We got chatting and when she didn't seem to know what Armistice Day was despite coming from Hong Kong, I got slightly suspicious... but still.

The main problem is that I just don't find her physically attractive and while that's not the sole thing in a relationship, it's kind of an essential part.

How do I break it off without upsetting her?

I told her honestly I didn't see her as GF material. She said she was feeling the same way.

So, up to London for a singles event tomorrow.

I met my husband online 14 years ago. I knew I'd never meet as anyone socially. I searched for a male within 50 miles of my home who was into mountain biking (you could put your interests into the search). We 'met' within 2 weeks of both joining s don't have any online horror stories to tell. It definitely helped to look for someone with a shared interest.
