Newly diagnosed, would like to meet people like me

Hi 

I am 39 years old, newly diagnosed. I am female. I live in South Lincolnshire (near Peterborough), I would like to meet people Like me. I am married, so I'm just looking to make friends. I also have a high IQ and a lot of interests as diverse as Terry Pratchett and physics. I am re-taking my IQ test soon, hoping to get into Mensa, last time I was in the top 3%. 

I had developmental delay; I didn't read properly until I was ten years old, so I would never have been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome, even if it were still diagnosed. This was completely missed in my early schooling and also at university. It's difficult to understand how it could have been missed for so long, especially as I have been told that I have limited facial expressions and there is no doubt that I have Autism. 

I would be happy to write to people or meet in person, whatever suits people best.
