Just to,let you know that the Government has issued a response to the ATU petition because it got over 10,000 signatures (currently at 16,000+) If it reaches 100,000 signatures it will be considered for a debate:

This is appalling. Hope one of the NAS moderators will add a message to this thread reassuring us that they are actively campaigning to prevent such abuses. 

its frightening really in the year 2018 when everyone including the nhs and government are so open about trans and all other sexuality issues yet so biased against mental health

yeah, just read that - absolutely horrendous to think that something like that can still happen in this day and age
