Difficulty with changes at work

Hi, there is a lot going on at work and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or similar experiences. The team I work in is doubling in size. I have high impact colleagues. My manager constantly tries to change everything and I'm overloaded with work as my colleagues are fairly ineffective. I had to leave work early for the first time today due to meltdown/stress. Has anyone experienced similar at work?

  • Yes i also have a lot of trouble at work especially when we do change over which is from breakfast menu to main menu and i get so panicked that the customers will yell or throw stuff and me, I pace and throw up but i have to hide my panic as they don't know i have aspergers and i don't want them to know and it just keeps getting worse for me i even started taking over the counter pills called kalms which i take way to many to get though the shift and to  stop shaking.

  • Hi Dragon I find pressure and change at work tough too. I've worked in lots of different jobs over the last 40 years. Some mainly good, some mainly bad, some a mixture.

Customers can be really unpleasant and demanding at times. Some of yours sound positively abusive.

Watch out if you take too many over the counter meds like Kalms as even non-prescription drugs can have bad side effects if you take a lot.

Do hope things change for the better soon at work or you manage to find another job where you can relax,  be yourself and enjoy life.

Dragon is a great name by the way!
