Please share your 'Thought of the Day'

Saw this sign on Twitter just now and thought "That actually makes sense, I should take better care of my self!"

Please share your Thought of the Day - it can be anything you like - quote, poetry, proverb, photo, cartoon, drawing, joke.          - it will be fascinating to see what everyone chooses.

P.S. If you can't see the photo this is what the sign says:

"Don't forget....    Drink water

and get some sunlight,

because you're basically a

house plant with more

complicated emotions."

  • “English is my 2nd language. Autism is my first,”Dani Bowman

  • This is a wonderful quote and I am so glad you shared it. I googled Dani Bowman and discovered she has created some fantastic animations and set up her own business when she was only 14.

I liked Dani's answer to an interview question about big goals:

Interviewer: You intend to earn a master’s degree in Business and one day create a studio on par with Disney or DreamWorks. When many people think big goals like yours are too outrageous or unrealistic, what gives you the personal courage to shoot for them anyway?

Dani Bowman: Yeah, that’s what they told Walt Disney. Well, I have autism. I don’t really understand barriers or why people put them up to begin with. I have no problem dreaming big. I always have been encouraged to dream big. I always shoot for the moon... even if I don’t hit it, I hit a star and that’s okay, too!

Thanks again for sharing the quote about autism being our first language. I think lots of people in this forum will agree with that!
