Unread notifications "lightning bolt" thing

ok since the inlgorious revamp, even though I think I have unchecked subscriptions, and unchecked every notification referring to subscriptions, why oh why does the blimming bolt thing tell me i have 4 unread notifications to subscriptions!! (At least it;s only 4 now,,.it was 13 yesterday...)

I want to be notified of replies to threads I've posted in, but not anything else. Under the old site I had this set up correctly.

But why isn't it working now?????????? grrrrrr

I use a tablet most nights and there are lots of features that don't seem to be working. The upvote thing and the like button on the original post seem to be broken. Yeah, irritating!

DC has noted the like button is still there for the main post starter, it is white in white, or grey on white, not visible on my tablet, I just keep tapping where I think it might be and sometimes manage to find it,

I tried to post a screen shot of it of it vaguely visible thanks to DC, but since the update I cannot post any pictures, I could before so no idea why now?

I even screen captured the picture by DC and tried to post it,,, no way,,, it is all so random.

I get lightning bolt notifications but with replies I have already seen?

email notifications are so random, quite often loads missing, they then make no sense, at least I do now get some. For months I got none at all.

Too bright argh!!!!!
