BPD and PDD/NOS Autism

So I'm 21 with Borderline Personality Disorder and Pervasive Developmental Disorder/not otherwise specified. I am due to return to university and am becoming very anxious of detaching from my family (I have been with them for a few months), being lonely, as well as waking up in a new room with new flatmates. Any advice?

  • Booking in regular social occasions with close friends and family could help, then if you do start to feel lonely you know you only have something to look forward to.

When I was at uni I limited my socialising to mainly the people I lived in halls with and those on my course. I wish I had made an effort to cast my net wider, including joining sewing and fitness groups. There are lots of things you could get involved in, such as uni socities, local adult ed classes etc.
