Weighted blankets

I was wondering if anyone on the forums has used or currently uses a weighted blanket?

I have read that they can be very good for relieving anxiety and can even help to improve sleep, but I am a skeptic when it comes to the marketing hype.

I am interested to hear your experiences and whether you think they are worth the money as they don't come cheap!

The reason I am considering one is due to my anxiety levels being very high for a prolonged period of time now as well as having to deal with poor sleep.  I have tried medication and it hasn't agreed with me so I am getting desperate for a solution, especially as my health is starting to suffer and I am becoming very run down.

  • Glad to hear you got your iron levels sorted as it can be such a simple thing to be overlooked as you found out.  I have had my bloods done recently and have had them done regularly in the past.  All levels are fine and if anything I seem to have very good folic acid levels which is apparently unusual of someone my age and gender, but there you go.

    I meditate as regularly as I can - albeit this last week was a bit hit and miss and I want to start yoga again, just need to get myself well again as I am fighting a nasty virus and infection at the moment, so not fit for much.  I have even challenged to doctor to check I am not suffering with any immunity disorders,  but everything is fine thankfully.
