Post Diagnosis Counselling

As the title say's really. Has any one had it? Is it available and was it benificial?

I'm contemplating what I would like to get from diagnosed. This would be understanding myself better & improving my life as far as reasonably possibly. So this sprang to mind, should I of course get diagnosed.

  • As an adult, Goatworshipper, it's much harder to get post-diagnosis support of any kind, than when one is a juvenile or adolescent.

What is available is very much dependent on where you live.

I'm currently trying (but coming up against brickwalls) to get counselling myself, for much the same reasons as yourself, when, and if, I get it, I'll try to remember to let you know how helpful I find it.
