As well as the online community here, you might want to look in the autism services directory if you're looking to make friends with other ASD adults. If you look under 'support groups and networks' - link here: http://www.autism.org.uk/directory/browse/cid=58~aid=1.aspx  - there are further options for 'befriending/mentoring' and 'social groups', where you can search to see if there are any groups in your local area.
