Autism Support

Hi,

My husband has just been to see his mental health social worker. She is a lovely lady, but she told my husband that he really did not have mental health issues as such. He does need some sort of support or counselling, however, he needs this more with respect to some of the issues he has with AS.

Do you know where he could enquire about such counselling or support?

You can find it here - http://www.autism.org.uk/directory.aspx - and have a look to see if there's something that would help your husband. If you prefer you can use this link, which is directly to the 'counselling' section of the directory - http://www.autism.org.uk/directory/browse/cid=15~aid=1.aspx - and from there you can see if there are counselling services in your area.
