Does anyone attend NAS branch meetings?

On Thursday, I was diagnosed with Autism. I was also told that there are meetings hosted by NAS in my area, for people on the spectrum.

Does anyone attend them? What are they like? I emailed someone over the weekend and was told that whilst it's a support group, they won't offer counselling. It's more meeting people with the same issues.

  • i don't know if this will help but my dad use to go to meetings something called autism connect i don't know if they do any meetings where you are or how about getting any info about it but maybe your gp might know something about it he said he quit liked the meetings this was years a go but i know they are still about.
