I went to GP yesterday routine blood and pressure tests.

Saw this leaflet in waiting room.

It seems to describe all the problems I am experiencing. So I did online assessment.

Result was they can't/won't help and recommend I seek professional help urgently.

Am I that bad???

Hi Robert123,

Sorry that it sounds like you're having a hard time. Did you talk to your GP about the way you're feeling? Even if the IAPT can't help, your GP may be able to refer you to someone else to talk to.

Alternatively, you can call the NAS helpline (or make an email inquiry) and see if there are ASD-specific mental health services in your area they can help you access. You can find our details here: http://www.autism.org.uk/get-involved/about-us/contact-us.aspx

Sorry that it sounds like you're having a hard time. Did you talk to your GP about the way you're feeling? Even if the IAPT can't help, your GP may be able to refer you to someone else to talk to.
