whenever we get on of these college or Uni students wanting us to fill out a surveymonkey we could fill in their surveys with utter nonsense?what do you think??

You have several choices
1) ignore it, they won't get enough responses in any case to make a sensible project - that's their problem not ours.
2) Fill it with junk. The surveys won't be checked or qualified to ensure that the samples look sensible.
3) Flag it to the moderators.
4) Fill it in if you have the time and inclination. The questions can make you think about stuff a bit more. (this may or may not be a good thing in your circumstances)
make a choice and move on but don't bother expending any emotional energy worrying about it.
I mostly do 1) but occasionally do 3 or 4. it's a free country/forum so option 2 can be used if that's your preference.
