It's possible, that we may see them on the new bank notes. Keep your fingers crossed.
That hedgehog is bloody massive
I saw a black squirrel recently.
I typically leave out some water for any animal that wants to visit. Sometimes milk for the feline friends.
There’s loads of birds that live outside my front door and I enjoy learning about them.
Animals>humans.
That's fantastic footage. It inspires me to get mine up and running again.
Great to see thisCinnabar_wing
Yeah, exactly! :)
It’s brilliant to have footage of that! Your own Springwatch!
Red, we are lucky to have them in our area! They are funny, there is a feeder by the back door and there are at least three different ones, as you can tell from the size/ slight colour differences.
They're adorable
Possibly could say they're like us in the sense that they need their own space but can be intimidating when needs to! (By them curling into the ball of spikes and us having to reinforce what sort and adjustments we need!
I remember my mum years ago said she'd opened the back door and saw a hedgehog! (This was at nighttime)
So cute
Unfortunately we can't really do the houses in our garden because of space but we leave the end of it overgrown etc for the hedgehogs to go in! (Hopefully that's enough for them when they're out and about!)
Is that a red squirrel or grey?
That's lovely.
We feed our hoggies and recently moved the wildlife camera to their feeding station. There's a surprising amount of activity at night that we had no idea about! The camera recorded them at 1, 2, 3 & 4am last night. You can tell there are different ones from the sizes and occasionally there's footage of two.
I'm lucky to have hedgehogs in the garden. One died last year [I was crying in the vets, where I'd taken it and it died shortly after] but there are more now. They seem to prefer living underneath the hedgehog house! I feed them in early evening but don't wait to see them as they are shy creatures. I must get some more batteries for my trail camera.
Oooh autistic joy!!!!!
