Cuddly Toys

Personally I prefer snuggling up to a cute cuddly boyfriend :).

The ones I have as gifts I really like my dad has bought me a few and so have other family members. They mean something to me. The giant bear has special meaning to as I won it when I was in treatment for an eating disorder and it represented me and the staff and I held on for two minutes to win on a bar holding on in the air not too high up. I bought myself a Mirabel cuddly toy and I do like that. I liked her drive in the film,

I don't use one so much now, but when I first met my husband-to-be, we had 2 years of long distance relationship where he'd got a job in the midlands, and I was in uni in scotland. So we got each other a bear from the bear factory. My flatmate said she could tell when I was sad or having a hard time, as I would carry the bear around the flat with me. When we did move in together they used to live on the bed together then. Until we had kids and then they got hijacked and ended up in the toybox.

My daughter is massive kleptomaniac for cuddlies, she is surrounded by them in bed, and has a large fox one that has to come on holiday with us as she won't sleep without it (and several small ones). She aqquires a new one everywhere she goes too. The weighted mental health one that does grounding was a good buy when she's having a meltdown.

I used to have many that I bought myself and got as gifts, I just have ones I really like or mean something special to me now - I probably will still get the odd one if it's really good looking or reminds me of somewhere that I've been

I have got cuddly toys I have got as gifts. I also won one at Thorpe Park one year by hanging on for 2 minutes. The bear is really big and am so glad that I won it. You see really big bears at fairs at times. I do cuddle it every now and then.

I think I need to investigate this, it’s a certain material that I love the feel of, so will carry out some research. 

I got a monkey that has Velcro on it's hands to make them stick together, from a teddy tombola once - he hangs from a hook on my drivers seat!

I keep one in the cupholder in my car for moral support while driving

I would carry one around with me as well! I know there's keychains with cuddly toys on them which might work 

I have one small one which I love to rub on my face and a larger one I sleep with in the bed. If I’m upset I will go and find them to help me feel better. I honestly would carry them about all the time if I could. 

I don't have weighted ones, but just cuddly them and having them close brings comfort! (I do have a really big bear that is almost half my size - I've got him sat in a box but sometimes I do take him out and cuddle him (think he's like weighted one)

I may have commandeered my daughter’s massive weighted axolotl doll to help me sleep, since I’ve been feeling a lot of stress this weekend.
