I like cut grass smell too!

All the pretty flowers and the blossom is in the orchard at moment, plus I like the breeze which I feel! 

We have a lot of skylarks in the fields near us too - it’s such a wonderful sound isn’t it?! I also love the sound of blackbirds in the evening, and wood pigeons. So soothing. I love the sound of tawny owls too but sadly over the last year we don’t seem to have these much locally at the moment. I really miss them. 

I also used a carrier for my children when they were really young so I could still go on walks in nature. They liked being carried in this way and I think it calmed us both down! 

Yes - I absolutely love doing this. Being out in nature, and just focusing on all the sounds, smells and colours and everything - this is just the most wonderful thing for me. I also really love the sensory aspects of the weather, the feel of the breeze, the sensation of mist in the air, or light rain on my face, or the sound of the rain on my waterproof. And the feel and sound of frost under my feet as I walk, or the sound of dry leaves on the ground as I walk. So wonderful. The smell of cut grass or dry hay. Just the best. Even just thinking about it is bringing me happiness!

That's the beauty of chirping birds! It can happen anywhere! 

Yes, I love it and I do it when I have time. Recently I have none but before I became mother I used to make very long walks. Once I was lucky to have a day off and child in the nursery,  then I made a walk and recorded beautiful symphony of chirping birds. It was in a park, but my mom thought it was somewhere deep in a forest 

I've yet to sit in the garden this year I'll have to do it sometime

Me, I love it too, one walk I go on I listen to sky larks, others it's water birds or normal garden and forest birds.

I like it in my garden when the neighbours aren't being noisy when all I can hear are birds and the humming of insects, I've been watched by a hoverfly and sometimes they come right up and eyeball me, to see if I'm a threat to their territory.
