In Victorian Times, Brunel sought people to get a single ticket from London to New York, by train then boat.
My dna also tested high for Neanderthal genes, which I am very proud about
Me too! It’s quite fabulous and I’m sure we could communicate well enough with our ancestors using hand gestures and facial expressions.
The Kennis brothers are very skilled.
The handprints and footprints are captivating. To think that ancient people put their hands and feet in the precise spot we may look at …we know exactly where their arms and legs were… I’ll not go on too much; they are enthralling.
That’s a fascinating idea! It would also interesting to go back in time and meet our ancestors.
I could have dinner with aliens
- arcturians
- zeta- reticulans,
- tall whites
I hope they don't do as much noise on the table as humans
Otherwise I could have a dinner with me, myself and Alien0n3arth
That's v powerful, I wish I thought about mine opposed to going with the first three names that entered my mindverse!
Emily Bronte, Gustav Mahler, Thich Nhat Hanh
My ancient ancestor who is a neanderthal woman
My dna also tested high for Neanderthal genes, which I am very proud about. Yes, it would be great to have knowledge of personal distant ancestors. Modern tests bring the past alive to an astonishing degree. We see imprints of hands and footsteps, reconstructions of ancient musical instruments. There is amazing reconstruction work by the Kennis brothers.
Perhaps knowledge of dna technology will one day enable archaeologists to reconstruct the likenesses of your own family - wouldn't that be amazing.

I started a similar thread some time back, after I'd been watching Come Dine With Me. But I actually asked which autistic people would you invite.
Mine would be:
Dan Ackroyd
David Byrne
Jerry Seinfeld
(If I was allowed to have 5 instead of just 3, I'd also invite Chris Packham and Anthony Hopkins)
