It's gone all orange and tastes powdery, artificial and almost medicinal.
Has the way it can be used changed too?

They seem to be copying AliExpress in a way. I guess it both goes ways.
I stopped using those, and mostly use eBay, Vinted and Gumtree. I may eventually look at Back Market but haven't yet.
It my strangly jumbled senses, the orange colour that amazon has gone, for me comes with a nasty taste, some words like syllogism are reminiscent of nasty school puddings. I don't have full synesthesia, but quite a lot of thing spark connections across the senses
I don't have prime, just kindle, I'd like not to use amazon, but alternatives are hard to find, especially ones that offer a similar ease of use.
The whole layout seems to have changed too
I noticed it had gone a weird colour when I clicked on the links for the books on the reading list for a University course on number theory (If I want to learn about something at degree level I find that after checking book reviews it usually works out that the books on the reading list for the topic in question results in decent books) - I then purchased the books second-hand through ebay as it was cheaper than anything listed through Amazon - the first 3 have arrived, I'm just waiting for one from Germany and a couple from the USA.
I don't think licking the screen is the approved interface
NOW someone tells me
I think she’s talking about what the Amazon website looks like?
But taste? I don't think licking the screen is the approved interface...

Amazon tastes orange? Did I miss something here or was the product you are referring to missed off the post?
