The dancers who are left are all really good, I'd like Karen Carny to win, she's brilliant and has never danced before, she looks just as professional as her professional partner, Carlos
Watching 'The Residence' currently, the lead character really feels Neurodiverse. (I don't know if it's purposeful!)
Gardeners World
Yes, love it - I'm glad they've put on Winter specials. I also love the Scottish version, Beechgrove Garden. The presenters are the sort of people you'd love to meet on an allotment! I love to watch back episodes during winter.
I love ‘Severance’ - so entertaining.
Omg yes I love that one too! I love when Kirby wanted to make a cartoon about food and he was trying to speak but all he could say was poyo! I love all of them to be honest. Even the asteroid one has its funny as well as heartwarming and adorable elements! Plus seeing dede remember his flashback in the episode where Mabel has her prediction tv show is funny! I also love the one with the school teacher who Tiff takes a shine too (he has a British accent I think), when dedede couldn’t write the letter D and it was an O! Say they’re all funny to me
In that respect it’s good that it’s all down to the public vote.
I like Shetland.
I know what you mean about Strictly though, although I've noticed that many who've danced professionally don't win, its the ones who've never danced before who still win.
I will be watching the drama ‘Shetland’ on BBC1 this evening.
Apple’s new series, ‘Prehistoric Planet:Ice Age’ complete with full visual effects is beginning tonight, so I might catch up with that later this week.
I have been a long time fan of Strictly Come Dancing, but my interest in it has been declining over the last few years, and I watched last weekend’s shows all on catchup, fast forwarding through everything but the dances and the scores. The show seems so characterless now, and the comments of competitors and judges so scripted. I have to cover my ears because Motsi shouts out her feedback. I don’t know who many of the ‘celebrities’ are, but some have been professional dancers, as they were classically trained and have danced on previous stage productions. It has taken the soul out of the programme. However, I still like Anton, and even Craig, along with the professionals such as Vito, Johannes and Kai.
My favourite episode is A Quiet Night In where two burglars trying to steal a painting. There’s hardly any dialogue.
I know, right? And the thing that really elevates it is that no matter how insane it gets, it's all done in dead seriousness with a straight face! Even the Gundam in a sombrero lol!
I also love the storytelling, the way it's presented almost like a TV show within a TV show with a host/commentator introducing each episode, really adds to the atmosphere
Ahh I love keeping up appearances! Hyacinth was so funny in my opinion. Also loved the way the postman would try and run away when he had to deliver her post
I used to watch the Lucifer, and also "keeping up appearances" my husband said, that Hiacinth made him angry, but to me she was much less important. I just enjoyed the fact that this show was so calm with beautiful views there. The plot was quite often funny but sometimes also hard to understand.
OMG I LOVE Mobile Fighter G-Gundam. Definitely did not expect to see someone ever recommend it here lol. That show was so ridiculous (catching bullets in episode one, where do you go from there? ), but I love the premise and it reminds me of when I was a kid and caught random episodes late at night not knowing what in the world was going on.
Omg I love king dedede in that show! His Texan accent was so amazing! I can’t imagine a king with a Texan accent, I absolutely love it! When I first watched the American version I fell in love with his accent! I actually found Tokkori to be funny in his own way as well. I love all the episodes but the pie one, the dentist one, the fitness one, the one with fololo and falala and the waddledee ones come to mind the most!
Inside No. 9 is my favourite programme of recent years. If you are in to dark comedy, horror and clever twists, it's great. It's an anthology show so every episode is different. I rewatched the live episode they did for Halloween this year and it's brilliantly disturbing!
