She is terrific and she has put so much into becoming a dancer who would pass for a professional.
I had a quick look, I think my husband would enjoy it too, so might be nice to watch over Christmas!
Yes, it was, because that job was 40 years ago! Do watch the programme though - the model makers are brilliant.
Ozark, Peaky Blinders, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones.
A load of rubbish on over xmas, Morcombe and Wise xmas special, I was a child when that was first broadcast!
I loved Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles too! Lovely to see British wildlife and I think he really showed the joy that people get from being in nature!
I'm looking forward to Winterwatch in January (hopefully) too!
This sounds enchanting! And what a lovely connection for you.
I discovered this series on i-player: 'The Marvellous Miniature Workshop' - model makers re-create miniatures of meaningful buildings for individuals. The pithead machinery is amazing! I worked for decades alongside engineers and ran a hospital engineering stores for 8 years. I loved this more than my later work as an NHS professional. Had I known I was autistic, I would have stuck to this field, as I got on well with engineers - this episode brought back a lot of memories. Do watch it!
The dancers who are left are all really good, I'd like Karen Carny to win, she's brilliant and has never danced before, she looks just as professional as her professional partner, Carlos
Gardeners World
Yes, love it - I'm glad they've put on Winter specials. I also love the Scottish version, Beechgrove Garden. The presenters are the sort of people you'd love to meet on an allotment! I love to watch back episodes during winter.
I was so glad when he won strictly!
I love ‘Severance’ - so entertaining.
Omg yes I love that one too! I love when Kirby wanted to make a cartoon about food and he was trying to speak but all he could say was poyo! I love all of them to be honest. Even the asteroid one has its funny as well as heartwarming and adorable elements! Plus seeing dede remember his flashback in the episode where Mabel has her prediction tv show is funny! I also love the one with the school teacher who Tiff takes a shine too (he has a British accent I think), when dedede couldn’t write the letter D and it was an O! Say they’re all funny to me
In that respect it’s good that it’s all down to the public vote.
I like Shetland.
I know what you mean about Strictly though, although I've noticed that many who've danced professionally don't win, its the ones who've never danced before who still win.
I will be watching the drama ‘Shetland’ on BBC1 this evening.
Apple’s new series, ‘Prehistoric Planet:Ice Age’ complete with full visual effects is beginning tonight, so I might catch up with that later this week.
I have been a long time fan of Strictly Come Dancing, but my interest in it has been declining over the last few years, and I watched last weekend’s shows all on catchup, fast forwarding through everything but the dances and the scores. The show seems so characterless now, and the comments of competitors and judges so scripted. I have to cover my ears because Motsi shouts out her feedback. I don’t know who many of the ‘celebrities’ are, but some have been professional dancers, as they were classically trained and have danced on previous stage productions. It has taken the soul out of the programme. However, I still like Anton, and even Craig, along with the professionals such as Vito, Johannes and Kai.
