Giant jaffa cake and Bakewell tart.

Nice..but I'd like mine served without the raisins please.

Peshwari Naans. I eat these as a stand-alone meal - so comforting. Filling is raisins, ground almonds and melted butter.

This is the Mary Berry jaffa cake recipe - for the giant, use 19cm or 20cm tart tins [loose bottom] instead of 12 hole bun tins:
Wow, I just fancy one of those!
Great job!!
Enjoy!!

I'm pleased you managed to escape, it can't have been easy.
To have two relationships like that is tough.
Do you think we attract those sort of people?
Me too - after 2 coercive relationships I'd rather not be reminded of.
Aw that's not very generous!!
I could earn my keep.. I could be the chief food taster!!
No really I totally get where you're coming from and I'm trying to work my way towards that sweet place.

Mmm...I could eat that.
Why does food always look better when someone else has cooked it.!!
Interesting!!
I now know what ghee actually is.
Thank you
Can I come and live with you?
Definitely not! To many years of providing free housekeeping, gardening, DIY et al. It's much less stressful being alone, and you get to eat everything you make.
I always use a flat baking sheet + baking paper for breads. A bit more expensive but it works.
It was posted in the Jaffa Cake thread:
Marianne72 can you post the recipe for that big Jaffa cake please?
Here is a recipe for ghee - haven't tried it but looks promising. It would cost £3.98 for 500gr of unsalted butter.
Yeah, thanks!!
I've managed to get it out of the pan also.
Just heating some homemade mushroom soup up to have with it.
Win win!!
