Some thoughts about universes

I'm recently very much into universe multiverse, theories, also quantum physics.  I listen to the astrophysicist Neil Tyson de Grasse and I love listening to him. And some time ago I heard a theory, that maybe our universe is inside of a black hole. According to Einstein theory black holes host their own space time, they preserve matter, electric charge and angular momentum, which would allow galaxies to develop. And here it could also answer the Fermi paradox: where is everyone? Maybe we don't hear anyone, because maybe we are alone in our universe (black hole) there might be also different explanations, like aliens using telepathy instead of radio waves for communication.  I drew some series of pictures related to this topic. I'm curious, if there is anyone Aldo interested with this topic and what are other people's thoughts.

Here it says "haha these funny little humans use radio waves for communication and expect the same from us."

  • Without photographic evidence and modern day technology that we have today all these people would have had is carvings and drawings and anything that may have been written could just be taken as ancient fantasy. I know there’s many strong theories for how the pyramids were built but even the scientists today scratch their heads around the scale of the structures themselves. There’s also the idea of the pyramids being a way to produce power by the way they are constructed inside.

  • Yes, I read books of Erich von Daniken, he gives many examples of artifacts, megalithic structures and ancient texts that suggest, we might have been visited. Just theory, but to me makes sense.

  • I have it like a movie in my head. I don't pay for netflix, my head plays me movies on its own. Now im in a middle of another alien story, where alien visits a girl in Dreams and shows her other worlds and other dimensions.  As I have not much time, I don't really know when I finish this one and start the next story.

  • There’s other ideas that suggest we were not the first advance life form in this universe. Some ancient drawings show UFO looking objects in the sky and its been suggested the aliens may have helped humans in some way.

  • That’s a really smart idea for a story, has a lot of interesting ideas in it. I could see it becoming a film actually.

  • Yes, thats true. I have an idea for my next alien story- earthlings found a planet that shows signs of life, not far away (relatively in cosmic scsle) traveling at a fraction of speed of light humans get there (next generation) 50 years later. They see strange structures and they see dancing masses of air. They find out that the air does photosynthesis and they catch some vibration patterns. They also kind of feel observed. But they find no evidence of intelligent life there. They test the atmosphere and it turns out to be rich of oxygen and nitrogen,  so they dare to take helmets off. They breathe. First nothing happens, but then they start feeling unwell and they start having hallucinations and nightmares. They get ready to go back. They arrive to earth very old and get to hospital. It turns out they have intelligent microbes within their whole bodies. After some time earth receives radio signal from thus exact planet saying, they would like to send their delegate to meet earthlings. First sceptic, later they agree. A human arrives. Identical to us, speaking English.

This whole planet - its core was a living intelligent being the leader of those aliens, the dancing air with tiny lights- intelligent microbes. Our men breathed them and these microbes entered their bodies, gathered information and copied. Thus way they created a full human body.

The person who arrives on earth is supposed to learn, how our civilisation works. When they see us, our unhealthy lifestyle, greed, addictions, famine and wars, he first tries to help, but after being treated badly it decides to dissolve into tiny microbes - it's original form and leave earth as soon as possible.

  • I guess it would depend on if a comet crashed onto thier planet carrying the component's of life like one seems to have done for ours?

I just hope if they are humanoid they don't go round wearing those horrible jump suits so beloved of the creators of sci-fi films, lol.

  • The issue I have is most depictions of aliens are like us only with green skin and elongated skulls making them somewhat comparable to humans at first glance and they tend to have two arms and two legs too. All these human features have taken millions of years to evolve on earth under earths natural rules of evolution. It assumes a lot to begin to think aliens would be anything like us. Life as we know it requires certain elements to grow and much of space is extremely lacking in these life giving properties. I wouldn’t discount aliens altogether though because if we go down the route of different universes then the aliens big bang may have contained unknown elements not known to this universe.

  • I'm not sure I've ever heard of a white hole? Matter will never escape a black hole as far as we know, but it's possible it might be something like the universe having indigestion and one day one will do a massive fart or even a shart and then who knows what might come out?

  • How would that sort of telepathy have evolved? I was reading recently (I do that a lot) about how life on other planets might look. In The Zoologist's Guide to the Galaxy by Arik Kershenbaum, the author makes the case that all life everywhere will have evolved through natural selection, so it might not appear particularly strange. He even mentions telepathy, but only as something that we have no idea how it might evolve.

Of course, any sufficiently advanced "beings" could always come to implement a technological solution to that problem.

  • I heard, that it might have been an explosion of a white hole in a black hole. If we are in a black hole, then doesn't matter, how much its expanding,  matter and energy will never escape... unless the black hole evaporates.

  • Maybe telepathy works like quantum entanglement? Maybe their thoughts don't travel in the vastness of the universe, to arrive years later to the recipient.  Maybe one sees thoughts of other one instantly, no matter what distance separates them?

Thank you for recommendation,  I will search this book.

  • My mind just latched onto one thing there. If they're not using radio waves for telepathy, what are they using?

I enjoyed reading Black Holes: The Key to Understanding the Universe by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw. It was the first time I'd seen Penrose diagrams in action and learned what they represent. You might like to give that book a go.

  • Well I have my doubts about the big bang theory. I've never heard that we might be living in a black hole, but what about the black holes we observe are they some sort of mirror image? I guess living in a black hole might explain why space is expanding and the gaps between galaxies geting bigger.
