  • I've got the lego classic which got unusual pieces. Also general bricks etc. Hoping to create something calming as I'm into zen.

  • Hi  that's cool, what Lego do you like? I love the Disney Lego, I just bought the Lego UP house set the other week, and I like the Lego people pack sets. I desperately want to get the NASA themed one.

  • Hello. I'm really into music myself, I like collecting CDs and going to concerts too. I like discovering new bands/singers, I do it quite regularly now. I've just recently got into an indie band called the Pigeon Detectives, they are awesome! I've listened to albums 1-4. I really enjoy watching films as well, my favourite is Skyfall (James Bond) and I love silly comedies such as Ted, Superbad, 21 Jump Street, Bad Neighbours, The Harry Hill Movie and The Inbetweeners Movie. Bye. Andrew

  • Hi there

I enjoy lego and got 2 books for ideas what to build. Also reading, photography and music.

  • ArchaeC, Have you ever been to Istanbul? The Museum of archaelogy there is fanstatic, I could have spent days in there, there's artifacts there from Catol Hoyuk and really since the end of the Ice Age, although I think the "when civilisation started" debate keeps getting pushed back most due to discoveries from Turkey.

You're not the only one who requests books on ancient history and it's often random offshoots, such as ancient textiles.

I have a recipe for little almond and honey biscuit cake things, from Ancient Egypt, it was found on the walls of a tomb and a baking archaelogist translated and recreated them. They're lovely, a sort of ancient and soft ameretti biscuit type of thing, that you can just imagine being nibbled on with a glass of date wine.

  • I love your dolls!!! Heart eyes They are beautiful! Thx for the friend request, I accepted.

  • I Sent you a friendship request, if you are comfortable you can accept. I love your doll collection btw! This is mine:

  • I’ve been watching on youtube as well. Love it! Oh wow you’re polish? So cool. I’m british which sounds a lot less impressive. LMAO. Have you looked on Kindle? A lot of books on those are translated to English your book might be on there. Do you have a link for that movie on youtube? I would love to watch that! I haven’t read either of those books before. I will be oc my alien library is seriously lacking, need to turn that round asap. I love this topic too it’s fascinating.

  • I saw some episodes of ancient aliens on YouTube and I love it. Yes I saw Daniken there. I red chariots of the gods and one another about stone age, but it’s in polish (my language) so I don’t know how it’s translated to English. I watched a 7 h long kind of movie on YouTube about Anunnaki based on Sitchin’s book “the tablets of Enki” but I myself didn’t read Sitchin yet. I love this topic.

  • I only read one, Chariots of the Gods, its my mums and one of my mums fave books, she’s big on aliens like me, as any sane person is ;) I absolutely love this book. Have you seen the tv series Ancient Aliens? I was 3 when it came out but it’s still on now and Erich von Däniken has appeared in it! Defo worth watching I find it really interesting and inspiring. I haven't read any Zachariah Sitchin books before but I will be!

  • Hallo, aliens here! Do you like Erich Von Daniken’s books, or Zachariah Sitchin? I love watching about Anunnaki.

  • Oooo! I have a shelf with quite a few books on or related to archaeology in the Levant, particularly material culture. I have always been fascinated by the culture of the Neolithic, and the later ancient historical periods in Mesopotamia, Assyria and the rest of the Levant, although the Roman Republic is a bit too late for me. I could possibly chat with you all day about that so maybe that makes us both odd!

  • I love everything about aliens! Have you heard of the book The Possibility of Life: Science, Imagination, and Our Quest for Kinship in the Cosmos by Jamie Green? It's a bit pricery but such a good book. I enjoyed it any way! Highly recommend if your in to alieny books. Hope you managed to get some time alone.

  • This is a really cool post! What sort of film making do you do? I want to make 3d films in the future, if I can be anxious free enough to do uni!

  • I was looking for a post like this thanks for making it Mac78321!

I've got a few passions something them lifelong

    • Ancient history, especially the Roman Republic era (always ever since being small I've had a big interest in it...probably was very odd to most people when I chose to get books from the library on Assyria, Hittites etc Slight smile)
    • Computer games, again something I've carried with me since owning a ZX spectrum and learning to write simple programs. Now own a PC and very much enjoy playing PC games, mainly strategy type stuff like Civ or RPGs like Baldurs Gate 3
    • Fantasy books, again probably since being a teenager and being mega into Lord of the Rings and it went from there really. I love epic type fantasy or dark/gritty fantasy stuff
    • Star wars, big fan since 1977 and watching Star Wars A New Hope, prefer the original trilogy but I do like the Mandolorian and Andor.
    • Probably misc history, I can't help getting drawn into a lost of historical type stuff on a range of subjects, this is more of a passive thing

Thats probably it, please let me know if any of the above connect Slight smile

  • Have a look at a romanesco cauliflower, they're a really good example of mandlebrot sets, the whole universe made of cauliflower! And you can eat it, I think for fans of Robert Heinlein, you could say that you can grok it in fullness!

  • I'm mainly focused on charting

also beekeeping, walking, driving , abstract painting, programming. I'm fascinated about large data sets and  patterns(like animals and other nature alike structures), discovering whole universes inside and imagine how they will develop in the future, because i just want to know.

  • Cooking,

Reading mostly crime and historical fiction and hisotrical non fiction, usually stuff pre-1066, I'm currently attempting to write a non fiction history book, attempting to answer and explore some of the things that get glossed over.

I garden, weather permiting, which in Anglesey can be not very often as we seem have a rainy season lasting most of the year.

I love walking with my dog in the beautiful local countryside and seeing all the different wildlife there

I love to spend time with my cats

    I like watching telly too.

  • Currently craving any time alone. I love watching or reading about alien worlds, planets, telescopes news theories etc. and reading watching about autism. I have my other weird repetitive activities to relax and distract myself from anything else. I love giving long hours lasting monologues about my interests but I know nobody would have endured that so I give these speeches to an imagined listener and I’m happy they don’t speak don’t interrupt etc. it’s therapeutic for me.

  • Like others, I like to visit museums, especially if the exhibits are of an archaeological or historical nature. My passion is archaeological material culture, particularly the Neolithic and Iron Age periods in the Levant. I enjoy learning of the latest studies in canine behaviour. I have a dog who I adore, so daily walks with him are also an enjoyable part of life. When on holiday, apart from visiting museums, I like to visit churches and religious buildings.
