Colours you dislike

I have read about colour therapy and colour sensitivity in autism. I'm a goth so wear predominantly black with occasional dark hues of other colours. 

Yellow and red are often mentioned as "over stimulating" for some autistic people. Perhaps connected, perhaps not, is the fact that sometimes, when I've been manic (I'm bipolar), colour has massively intensified. One time it was red, which became almost unbearably bright, like swarms of iridescent insects vibrating and moving. This time around it was yellow. You see a lot of yellow in the city when it's so bright. Double yellow lines, warning signs, cars and trucks etc. It was quite disorienting walking around. Also very pretty.

Pink! I hate it! I'm not sure whether it's because it's such a girly colour and I'm so not girly but I don't think I've ever liked it, even before I was aware of such things.

Yellow is my favourite colour. Always has been. Not sure what it is that I like but I've always loved it.

I don't like any of the mustard yellows, although for me it really depends on the context, whilst I like a warm buttery yellow on the kitchen walls, it's not a colour I'd wear. I think I could say the same about most colours, I rarely wear reds, oranges, yellows or brigth pink, I love these colours in the garden, especially in late summer.

Overall my favourite colour palette for most things are green, blue, mauve and purple, I do quite like browns and greys too, but not beige. I'm lucky in that browns and greys suit my skin tones.

I dont' like acid and neon colours, they're to much of an assault on my eyeballs!

I always like to wear blue shirts, jumpers and ties. There's just something relaxing about the colour 

I detest the deeper and darker shades of yellow, but can just about tolerate light yellow.

I dislike the colour orange, my favourite is blue. Most of my clothes are blue, I often work with car paints, some of the metallic blues just do something to my brain.
