Haha, I tried to waffle but the assessor kept asking the other person in the room how they were doing for time so never got chance, hence why I thought I messed up

I can understand that. I was diagnosed only two months ago and I keep going back to the report to read it again,

Welcome to the club. When I'm nervous I tend to waffle and jump from one topic to another, apparently I'm fond of a tangent. My assessment ran way over time.

Lol, but then if you articulated them / let thide thoughts  out maybe they’d think,,, hmm, yes that IS the right answer - maybe it all would have been right and therefore yes, they’ll come back with - Certified Spectrum Torphy.

I find that - I get tongue tied around formal things like that …what’s the right answer? It’s not surprising you don’t want to share your biggest fear…be kind to yourself?

Absolutely. Hopefully, that won't be needed. But, if so, there are a couple of ways to approach it, per the NAS's advice:

"If you disagree with the outcome of the assessment, you may want to raise your concerns directly with the team of professionals who assessed you. You can consider requesting a second opinion by going to your GP if you have had an assessment through the NHS."
