Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.
From Darkness to Light.
1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)
2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)
3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.

Yes, me too, I use them all the time. (I love parentheses!)
Hmmm... It isn't just knowing, it's also wanting to use good grammar. My grammar that I use on here has probably gotten worse because I'm loosening up, I'm getting to know these people better. In my early days on here I used to check and re-check all of my grammar at least 10 times. So yes.
Youll have to teach me sometime because I am awful at grammer (I think?)
You can use them anywhere you want, pretty much. Anything inside parentheses should be able to be taken out and the sentence should still be grammatically correct. But I don't know that much, this is just from my reading (which I do a lot) and what Ms. D told me. Ms. D completely rewired my grammar this year, it's SO much better.
I actually dont know the proper use for parentheses (or most punctuation) but I like to use them for when I have a side note real quick (and then helps it not seem as chaotic I guess).
Edit: I dont think that last bit needed parentheses but I just wanted to use em
