No idea why I'm posting this - (just for fun)

I am currently sitting in front of my computer, which is in my kitchen, waiting for something to finish cooking in my microwave.

As I will be eating shortly, one might well wonder why I chose to sign in, or why I feel compelled to share this uninteresting news with you. Thinking

Well, I did not know that within 5 minutes of me signing in, my son was going to ask if I fancied something to eat, which I do... because I'm hungry. So, now I'm sitting here thinking, "Don't get too involved with the forum discussions, or at least not until after I've eaten."

"That's all well and good", you might think, "but why are you telling us all this?" Rolling eyes

Um, I have no idea. None whatsoever. Stuck out tongue winking eye

  • Brilliant. Clap That is the best thing I've read in a long time. Question of the hour: what time will your food be ready and will you be sharing with us? I have not eaten either. Stew

  • Me neither. But my appetites gone away. I get like that when I’m very sad and anxious. But could do with losing a bit of weight anyway. I just scraped into ‘no longer overweight’ a day or two back. On the bmi chart. I’d best try something though. Toast and margarine won’t make me feel too sick

  • A meal a day keeps the doctor away. If you have any crackers will serve you well, kind to the stomach and won't cause a lot of nausea as they are bland. As it looks like I will have to feed myself tonight I will make my specialty: El Bread & The Butter Special. A true classic. Sunglasses

  • Did you ever make a sugar sandwich as a kid? Or adult? I used to know a boy at school who sometimes got that as his lunch. I was never sure whether to be jealous or horrified. I confess I have had a sugar sandwich in recent weeks, there was nothing sweet in the house.

  • Er… I’ve stepped on the jesters toes there I think. Dungeon time

  • I have already said sorry, but some forewarning that you wanted feeding might have been wise. Wink

Bread & Butter? Nowt wrong with that.  Back in the old day when I were a lass, bread & butter was considered a luxurious exotic treat. I'm joking... I'm not THAT old! Wink
