I've been blessed by a wonderful artist from Norway called Aurora, she is so unique and is also on the spectrum

A couple of genres that I really got into during lockdown are hardstyle and frenchcore.
Admittedly not everyone's cup of tea.

Classic! Love that song.
Fever -- Elvis, Michael Buble.
This song reminds me of my family and me stopping for chips in a recently renovated cafe in Donegal on a rainy August day, 1988. There was the smell of freshly planed wood still in the air mixing deliciously with the smell of chips and vinegar. That song was playing on the radio in the background. I guess this is a sort of reverse Proustian rush I'm experiencing as I type this.
That Ron Dance bit is so freaky though - it almost has an Aphex Twin vibe - like he's wearing a mask or something
Good song. I love Sparks. I saw them live with my parents when I was 12.
Fast Car (Tracy Chapman).
When do I get to sing My Way...? (Sparks)
I liked both of them - and I liked all of the gay ones like Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Culture Club, Wham, Communards/Bronksi Beat - I fancied Morten Harket and the blond one from A-Ha like mad - even to this day, I’m still attracted to blond and ginger guys
So, I've started watching Grange Hill from the beginning (thanks Britbox) but it will be a while before I get to my era (mid-late 80s) - it's great from the start though. Anyway, it was the 'Sausage on a Fork' podcast that got me going down the GH rabbit-hole again, learning all sorts of behind the scenes stuff I never knew. Including the existence of one of the best 'so bad it's good' songs I've ever heard. Enjoy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uqhv0GGuBw
Infinite Things by Paloma Faith.
Tears For Fears: Everybody Wants To Rule The World.
