I have to admit it's not my fav time of year. I liked it when I was really little because of Santa and presents but now I'm an adult it just makes me anxious. Everything about it causes me anxiety and discomfort. The shops and town become super busy and loud, bright lights are flashing everywhere, it's colder usually, everything gets expensive and family always mix and party which I find very hard to cope with. I just want to hide away for the whole month and come back in January. I know it's not Christmas yet but it's closing in fast and I'm already anxious and dreading it.

I hate the socialising at Christmas. I meet up with cousins and aunts and uncles but we've nothing in common it's very awkward.

I like present buying. I have a little sister and she is such a Christmas monster! She loves it lol.
Hate it. It's busy, i am expected to socialise and speak to family who i barely ever see! Growing up, i had a certain routine that happened every christmas and that's changed over the last few years which makes me hate it more because it doesn't even feel right
I enjoyed it when my Mum was alive, but not when I had to socialize with people who did it differently.
I am with you on the busy shops and they squash more in to make it worse. I now mostly shop online. It also gives me time to think rather than panicking to buy in a set time.
I enjoyed present buying for my son when he was young. Now no parents alive, it is just our family of 3 and a very chilled day.
I love Christmas. 10 days off work & nobody can tell me off for eating and drinking too much. I tend not to go out much, though, only to the local pub that I feel comfortable in - you won't get me anywhere near a bar or shopping centre at Christmas
