I'm generally open minded and unprejudiced, so I was surprised when I got suspended from Twitter for this tweet. I've left mine and my friend's Twitter names on there because we have nothing to hide, we don't use racist names or anything. FFS. Can anyone shed light about why this tweet was so 'hateful'? I've appealed because it is so stupid.
Well done
Well done!!! I'd have complained as well.
Haha! Twitter unlocked my account and apologised! I am glad I fought them. I refuse to be accused unjustly!
Gosh isn't that true. People can't discuss things sensibly anymore, it has to be win or lose.
Whenever one defends Christianity, there is an immediate bombardment of 'Spanish Inquisition' and 'Salem Witch Trials' by the same Left-Wing Goons. (Communism wanted the State to be the sole source of Help for People, therefore Religion was an obstacle)
That's what pi$$es me off about Internet debates. It's no longer about what's right and what's wrong. It's all about the Win.
I don't know what half your post means but it sounds impressive
I've enjoyed the comments tbh. It's nice to chat to people and get things off my chest.
I shan't be using any monkey emojis again to show embarrassment that's for sure. They should remove the monkeys from the emoji list tbh. We'll see.
Hopefully you are right but sometimes when things go wrong again and again, something happens which is the last straw. So instead of taking it out on people, I'll take out my annoyance on Twitter, which can well handle it.
I would say Twitter is a right wing site tbh, I'm always getting called a liberal, lefty snowflake and criticised for tweeting gay pride and anti racist comments.
I think all social media is getting very 'ist' though, I stick with nice people there, which I'm lucky to have found.
You never know, there are different versions of Scooby Doo. Maybe there is a version where Fred is a Nazi white supremacist
Righto!
Well yes I am probably exaggerating but it's been a difficult couple of weeks in my life and sometimes there is something which is the last straw. I am human and allowed to get angry sometimes at last straws, especially to a group of people who I assume will be accepting of me.
But if it turns out the reason is the monkey emoji I shall know they are being ridiculous and be justified
It's all about one group of people projecting their fears onto the whole world.
While profit is a key motivator, the real problem is that Corporations don't have a direct link with the people; the middle man - Politicians - can be bought off in the process.
If you ask me, Marxist Insurgency is a Trojan Horse aimed at Globalising American Values.
Are..... Are you trying to become irony itself?
Einstein was indeed courageous. He was an advocate for a world government (with a reach far beyond that of the UN)

The full essay is in a book "Essays in Humanism" (although I imagine the chapter has been reproduced online somewhere)
is "censorship" by a faulty algorithm the same as censorship by a government or authority? its almost like there is a difference between accidental and intention. like accidentally hurting someones feelings and intentionally hurting someones feelings.
funny discussion to be having on a forum regarding autism...wouldn't you say.
Had to look this one up. Is it this guy?

For the record other newspaper websites are available.
some of the discussions here that have come up simply from an algorithm being broken and bots determining what is offensive is embarrassing. there is no censorship, this isnt some huge conspiracy, charlie chaplin didnt predict this outcome in his great speech 100 years ago. its just a huge platform that has too many people using it and most of those people are not good people.
has anyone seen steven crowder complaining about "censorship" while being extremely racist constantly. itIs the same tin foil hat viewers of his that have caused twitter bots to determine the use of the monkey emoji might be hateful because they are being hateful all the time.
they are the type of people using the monkey emoji to be racist on posts then saying "im just posting a monkey" then innocent people get banned for using it innocently then they tell the innocent people see its censorship to get them angry.
The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.— Albert Einstein
That's the full quote by Einstein. I disagree with you. There is nothing to be gained from encouraging ignorance or fostering conformity.
