I live in a flat on my own (well apart from my pet budgie) but it's supported accommodation. There are support workers on site all week but for weekends. I rent the flat, and its my own space with my own kitchen and bathroom etc.
Not sure which one that would be in the poll.
why, thank you Nessie, yes, down the road,. but nervous thinking about it , being alone.
how are ya'll ?
Hey!
..............?
We have had a good week thank you
I used to own a motor home for a good few years, had to sell it due to lack of use (two pregnancies and nursing babies does not allow time to use motor homes frequently) and the fact that it got damp inside! How I wish I still had that motor home though, I was like a snail with my house on my back, I could just get in it and drive wherever I liked safe in the knowledge that I had my accommodation with me.
We’re on the Norfolk coast now, we come to Norfolk a couple of times a year, it’s beautiful here and the roads are so calm.
I have similar things going on. The area I live has gone down over the years. I hope when mortgage is done I might feel more able to do something about moving. With all the nations troubles, especially starting from 1980s, Gov. should have invested more in renting
Hi Jake,
It sounds like you have a nice family.
Would you like to get a place of your own one day?
I'm so sorry to hear that. That really can't be easy. I can definitely understand the attraction of not having the pressure of ownership and upkeep.
I liked my place when I first bought it (and escaped shared rented) but, three years on, I have unpleasant neighbours, and not being able to work at present means paying all the bills is a constant worry. Also, with all the Brexit nonsense, there's no point trying to sell, so I feel quite trapped at the moment.
Hey.
I wish I had an easier arrangement. My family pushed me to buying many years ago. I'm not interested in its upkeep and it freaks me out what needs doing to it. I think renting would have been better for me, especially now I'm dx'ed
hey yall, ! i live in America with my Mom an step-dad, at my step-dad's house.
that reminds me . . . . .
That sounds cosy. Are you having a nice time?
Growing up, our family had a few caravan holidays on the north Norfolk coast, which I always really enjoyed.
Currently in a caravan with my husband, two youngest daughters and my mother-in-law. I’ve used my ‘actual’ usual living arrangements for the poll though :-)
