I'm new here and thought I'd try to get to know people by finding out more about you individually, if that's okay? So I'm really into animal behaviour. Having previously been a vet nurse it always fascinated me & was obviously a big part of my job so that was a bonus. As a result I have pets... currently 2 house rabbits and a lovely gerbil. I'm also into motorbikes... having grown up around them I just love to be around them & riding them. So what interests you?
They projects do sound incredibly fun in all honesty. We never made Halloween costumes so you gave them a lovely extra to remember from their childhoods :) The poor kitty - must've had trouble showing its face in the neighbourhood after the bikini incident ;) lol Cloudy Mountains - I'm glad you approve of the choice in games
You must have good patience for the film making interest! Me and camera's are not friends at all. Music is a big interest for me too - I like all types but do steer more toward punk/rock/metal etc. We have two piano's in the house and I'm currently relearning how to read sheet music. I love the fact you have such a wide interest and it sounds like they're not just passing interests... kinda like you have deep knowledge on each individual one? I hope that make sense. :)
Awesome bike - please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can see its a KTM? How do you cope with the falls? (If you ever have any)
Maths has always been a tough subject for me so I really admire the fact you enjoy it. My partner is a bit of a mathematician (has to be for his job) so constantly running circles around me in that sense. Have you made anything recently when sewing/knitting etc? Cooking is a refined skill... so long as it tastes good to you that is all that matters. I had to learn as a child (my parents used to be chefs) so I can easily make you a full roast chicken with a home made desert but don't ask me to make you something like lasagne lol
I hope you'll be able to figure out how to post some photos. I'm sure they're wonderful.
I find photography and walking through natural environments interesting and relaxing. It provides good stress relief.
Here's a small selection from today's walk. The May greeneary is very fresh.
I think Henry VIII vandalized this abbey.
Then it was back to civilization. Not sure why everything was shut at 3pm on a Tuesday. Maybe foodbar opens in evening.
Wow! Those woodlands are amazing. You're incredibly lucky to have that to visit and walk through.
Beautiful pictures, I could almost smell the greenery in those photo's! Mmmm... I miss trees.
Aprilia RX 80.
I rarely fall off tbh. Usually drop it on the floor below 20 mph when my boot slips on wet soil, or when front wheel slides into a deep rut.
It looks wonderfully fun. Hopefully I'll be able to try this one day (need to wait until after knee surgery). Until then it' just normal road bike.
I don't make films I just like to try and make sense of the process (I'm not too good with a camera myself, I hate having photos taken of me too, lol), I love the way film has to make so many things work or sometimes throw things out to work! It's a crazy collage!
Music is a big thing for me, I own a few synths and drum machines but I've moved over to digital stuff on DAWs over the past 5 years. I can't read music but I can keep stuff in key, sort of self-taught. I love programming synths probably more than playing them! Which bands do you like?
Yeah I like a lot of stuff, I have to watch myself if a subject gets brought up sometimes. I tend to go off on one if someone brings up the right (or maybe wrong?, lol) thing!
