First appointment

I'm not sure if I should post it in this section. I had my first appointment and feel very much validated and understood. Next appointment is on next Thursday. The diagnostician told me, she is sure that im autistic,  but for full report she needs to gather more information from me. She asked me about my past, about my day, she had to stop me from talking about aliens and space. I also showed her my comics and she liked it. She said its fascinating, but we gonna miss the diagnostic process. She also said, I don't show any signs of adhd, which was also shown in test that I sent her.

  • Thank you all for your responses. I'm having some thoughts "what if she gives me autism diagnosis just because I'm paying" I have to make it clear that im paying for assessment process and not for paper with autism written in it. My therapist says its good that I went for the autism assessment although would be better if I didn't have to pay. He also saw my lego comics and said its an artwork and said its visible that it's very important for me. I know that imposter is very co.mon among late diagnosed or realised. It's kicking in.

I also explained to my therapist that there was no other option for me, because 1. I couldn't apply and there was no answer when I tried to call, 2. Without parental input they wouldn't even listen to me, the diagnostic process would be impossible.
