It's time for me to go now

I have many illness. My stomach is blown out. I think I have ascites. I have advanced diverculosis, barrett's esophagus and a throat hernia. When I lie down, the acid goes into my lungs. I tick all the boxes for colon cancer.

It's impossible to get an appointment with my GP. I got a phone call from the hospital about my endoscopy, but didn't receive a letter. I honestly give up.

I'm living with my mother atm. If (god forbid) she passes, I'll be homeless as I'm not in the will.

I reached out to my council regarding housing and told them my condition, but was rejected. I get the message. I'm of no relevance. That's fine.

I would like to move to Thailand. I don't have cash or savings. I can save up for the flight. I'd rather die there than here on the streets. I won't last long on the street in winter, due to my illnesses.

I would be happy just trying the street food in Thailand and seeing the beaches. I don't have any children, hence the council rejection.

I don't want to chase the hospital. I don't want to live with my condition anymore. I want to go to sleep now. I want to do it in Thailand.

I'll save up and work it out.

  • The lack of council housing means they keep wating lists and single people currently in secure housing aren't likely to get on the list. It's different if you're at immediate threat (say within a few weeks) of being homeless. This is on the citizens advice website:
"You can get council help if you're eligible and you're legally homeless or have been threatened with homelessness." The 'eligibility' part is about your immigration status.

Check out their website for more information. You could also ring your local citizens advice for an appointment to see someone about your situation.
