Mental Health & Wellbeing: Vacation

This trip was about rest. I let someone else do the beds, cleaning, serving and washing up. Stayed at the usual seafront hotel with dinner, bed & breakfast.

*Daily rhythm*  

Breakfast: 8am-10am  

Coffee: 11am, optional  

Afternoon tea: 4pm  

Dinner: 6pm-8.30pm  

*Menu highlights*  

8th June: Tenderstem broccoli wrapped in Parma ham with lemon and sea salt. Gnocchi with mushrooms, spinach, cream and grated cheese. Honeycomb & vanilla ice cream.  

9th June: Creamed leeks on sourdough toast. Stuffed aubergine with miso, panko and seasonal veg. Chocolate sundae.  

10th June: Leek & potato soup. Risotto with nuts, squash and sage. Mini knickerbocker glory.

*Packed*: Wind-down activity book from The Works, teddy, meds, notebooks, pencils, colouring pencils, eraser, pens, wallet.

Gave myself permission to slow down. It helped.
