Undiagnosed but definitely autistic

Hi, I have had a pretty rubbish life with bullying, abuse, mental health problems.

My daughter, nephew and niece have autism. My daughter’s counsellor said she suspects I have autism. I never ‘fit in’ with Society, people, life in general.

I do think I am autistic, as thinking about my life I have all the signs but ‘mask well’ For it to be confirmed would prove to me im not a weirdo with no friends…im autistic so find life that bit harder.

I did speak to doctor and after 5 minute chat she said I was ok. Online tests show I am. I know nothing will change with diagnosis but it would give me peace of mind (now 55, I need it)

I was told I did not have sleep apnea but pushed and I’m amber/nearly red for how much I stop breathing through the night.

I can no longer work due to health problems so cannot afford to go private. Is there any way to get tested sooner and cheaper? I’m in UK
