It's strange how some songs that make people relax set others on edge. I googled "relaxing Songs" and the results included moon river, what a wonderful world, imagine, yesterday, and Let it be - all songs I find annoying. The only one in the list of 50 songs I found that I think is ok was smooth operator by Sade.
I prefer instrumental music for relaxation, but the most relaxing song I could think of is "Ghosts" by Japan.
I remember seeing it performed for the first time in 1982 on Top of the pops and being totally gobsmacked - a "pop" song with no drum track and minimal music, and such a talented singer - unforgettable.
