Hi all, I've recently discovered this forum and have found it to be very insightful. My wife and I have a 20 yr old just diagnosed son. He has had help from groups from our local council and gp before the diagnosis but they dont seem to have done anything whatsoever.
Id like to start a new post in its own section but cant lol so this is a hi and can you help? Our son who has always had outbursts and struggles to contain his temper, is becoming more and more aggressive. He has lashed out towards me a couple of times recently and now I'm concerned, what if it happens to my wife? We have tried all different types of dealing with this over the yrs, from talking calmly, to walking away, to let rant, you name it. Its just getting worse.
Any advice, thanks in advance.
