Anxiety question

I have a question that I would like answering if anybody could help.

I am on a waiting list for an Autism Screening assesment which has been about 6 months now. Just recently I went to the doctors because my anxiety has been bad for about 9 months but I've always suffered with it from childhood in waves on and off.

I have recently been prescribed medication and now I wonder if this could hamper any future Autism assesment or not? Has anybody been assessed whilst on medication and if so did it affect the outcome in any way?

I was assessed while on medication and passed/failed the assessment. Diagnosed autistic needing LVL 1 help so couldn't have been assessed as any more severe than I was.

I'm on antidepressants and atarax. And a load of other stuff that's not relevant to the question.
