Autistic and aging - brighter topic for a change

I think I actually started doing it when I was back in my thirties, just that I do it noticeably more often now. 

I do that too but have done for years. I'm in the next decade.

Just turned 48, and I totally understand that superpower of forgetting what I went in the room for.

I'm 47 and am fascinated by my ability to walk into a room in my house (for a specific purpose) and then completely forget what it was I had intended to do in that room.

after all 40 is supposed to be the age, when man is in his prime

then he can only get wiser

I'll be 43 in June. However, I felt that my life really did begin at forty.

I'm blossoming, when most are withering.

Urrgh, I am turning 48 next week... in order to combat the warp speed like aging process that is almost like time relapse video of all the hairs and wrinkles that appear on my follicle challenged bald head - I practically drink palmers cocoa butter to reverse this process...not sure its helping. 

Stress did the same with my hair

I’m 41 and I already have more wrinkles and grey hairs than I’d like to admit

Silver blond - I don't think you can buy paint like that - I'm sure they know

Age is only a number, we are the only species that knows it’s exact age. We have no control over it so why worry!  My late dad said.” No one has escaped alive yet”,  he was obviously right.

You say you're aging at only 43.!!!  You're a mere whisp of a girl.

I'm  69 this month.

The  woman that i went to, to have my haircut, always remarked how soft my brown hair was. I went one day and she said,..... what's this, you've got  a grey hair. I said, I've been decorating Jean, painting the ceiling, it's probably white paint.

I notice now my nice soft brown hair isn't soft anymore, it's hard. And it isn't brown now............ i'm silver blond, not grey.

I had a few changes during puberty obviously but since then I've not changed much. Health is a bit up and down but physically not much difference. Hair is a bit grey in places lol but that's about it so far, no wrinkles yet. I guess it's stress why I'm greyish in places.

which would you like to have? 

Yeah I've read about how bad relationships can effect you that way. I wouldn't want that but at same time I don't like being unloved either. I'm hoping one day I'll meet someone who's just right and doesn't mind me being autistic.

No I've not done that before. I did it just now and you're right it sounds completely different! It's like it's literally someone else you don't know you're hearing. That's so cool!

Don't worry about being single, it's preferable to being in a bad relationship I can say in retrospection. Bad relationships ends and you're single again, only badly messed emotionally.

Have you tried to listen to recordings of your voice? 

I did it 2 weeks ago for the first time ever and I wouldn't recognize myself, it sounded so strange

I think for me it's just the change. I notice things, differences in myself and I've noticed my voice has changed and at times it doesn't sound like me, or the me I'm used to. 

I'm sure I'll get used to it 

That's interesting to know by the way. I always thought men would prefer a softer more high pitched voice, but then again I know nothing about these things lol which is probably why I'm single.

I'm not sure about women but man don't like high pitched voices,

there is a build in mechanism that disables hearing input in case of hearing voice like that

both autistic and nonautistic man have it LOL
