Very true, it is hard to understand how other people think.
There are people in the world I don't like the way they think. News provides prime examples of them.
Overall though, I think it is a good thing though, or we would all be bumping into each other trying to do the same thing, and all art would look the same. I like seeing how different people might draw/paint/photograph the same thing but all do it in different ways. Even if you give people the same lego blocks, you'll get a lot of different creations (and a lot of towers perhaps).
I think thinking differently is one of the pleasures and problems of being human, few of us agree on absolutely everything, especially when you get into detail. But for me it's ok, it's good not to be in a echo chamber and I'd get bored if I didn't have something to discuss with others.
What CW said is right, if you gave me lego blocks, you'd get lots of walls that fall over.
