Does anyone else feel Sex and masterbation are possibly more of an important thing when you have autism 

luckily ive never had any issues with hyper sexuality or anything inappropriate but I do find that when I get comfortable in a relationship that Sex becomes a thing it almost acts as a way to help regulate me (as well as other things snd done in moderation)

I find masterbation does this less for me now that I have an active sex life but sometimes it’s the only option becuase obviously sex should be a two way thing that both partners want 

i also heard fetishes are more likely in autistics and I have a few(fairly vanilla ones that most partners have been fine with) and if anything I wouldn’t have it any diffenet as it’s all sensory things

not sure how much of that rektales to autisim but I think wihout all of that i may not I’d met my oartnet who ive been with for 15 years so thank you weird sexuality for helping me find happiness haha

    Like I say Ll my celeb crushes at the monent are all mid thrities like me perhaps it’s becuase they have the personality to go with the looks but older women I do think it’s a experiance and b they do have some values I’d like too

  • In Praise Of Older Women by Stephen Vizinczey is a favorite novel of mine. I have had a relationship with an older women and would love to have more. There is just something about them that I find so attractive, maybe the confidence they have? My celebrity crushes are all older women.

    I think it is quite common for autists to use masturbation as a way to feel an emotional comfort and be able to feel something (lust mostly) for a short while.

    This, combined with our special interests can lead to uncommon fetishes too as you point out.

    With our challenges in creating social connections I also think we are more prone to sexual objectification.

    Same here. Where I live there is a much more common culture of there being almost a generational difference in dating age, brought about by the men here being very slow to "grow up" and become capable of providing comfortably for their partners. 

    Is it gold digging or just looking for someone more aligned with their emotional maturity? I don't know honestly but having people 20 years younger than me chatting me up takes a bit of getting used to. 

    If this happened in the UK there would be a mob with pitchforks and torches hunting the men, but here nobody bats an eyelid when a white haired man is dating someone in their 30s or 20s.
