The new Forum Creative Space

Tragically, the former thread has been deleted.

My suspicion (thanks to a friend) is that it may be because I created it under an old ID and that ID has now been deleted, presumably as part of the forum changes that have been taking place.

So, this is the new one.

Please upload anything that you enjoy 'making' - art, photos, knitting, writing - anything.

Here's mine for starters.

  • You are very talented and good observer! I love this picture

  • as you know I keep dolls houses

Do the dolls have tattoos though?  Laughing

  • I was sure I replied to this - might've forgotten though ("Sorry!").

Your creativity was/is beautifully stunning! If you were that amazing then you must be incredible now.

Do you make anything like this now?

Definitely NO need to feel any shame. You had a lovely hobby that blocked out everything else, there's nothing wrong with that It must have been so much fun.

  • No shame now. They are brilliant.

  • Thank you so much for sharing those with us A, and your story.

Wonderful and, as you know I keep dolls houses, I can relate although I'm not a 1/4 as creative as you are.

    Heart eyes

  • here one more- her trouser and shirt we’re both my work. As 18 I gave it all to one child, my heart was aching but I knew it’s time to say good bye to my friends and let them accompany another child. Today I also have a collection of dolls. I will never forget those from my childhood and teens though.

  • I Found today my old photos taken between 2003-2006 (I was a teenager)

here is a project that includes all my special interests I had at that time - it’s in Russian (это моя ΠΌΠ΅Ρ‡Ρ‚Π°) means this is my dream, there is also a tram - model of old Siemens-Duevag that I made at age of 10 (around) and my imagined friends- the little paper dolls around 10cm tall. That was my world. Instead of socializing with peers, I sat after doing my homework and forgot about the whole world and also about my own body’s needs - bathroom, eating drinking etc.

    trousers sewn by me.

and here are photos of my Barbie dolls and the dollhouse I made as a teen. Making house and setting up a scene was the thing that gave me a lot of joy. I couldn’t really play the dolls. But they were always my silent close friends. I craved friends. Humans were out of my reach, but dolls were there for me. I took care of them best I could to accommodate them in a best house I could make and give them clothes sewn by me on hand. I observed seems in clothes for humans and this is how I recreated the process of making doll clothes from cutting to sewing them together. For me these dolls had souls and personalities I also gave them their own names. I looked at their faces and matched a name that fits her face best. I’m very happy that I found these photos. Back then I was ashamed of it. Now I can only say OLD IS GOLD!

  • I would feel sad when eating these masterpieces!

  • @Berrybunny  I'm teasing by the way.

I've no talent when it comes to drawing/sketching so I can only admire the work of those that do.

I used to mimic my bad teachers (which got me into loads of trouble)

  • Sprouts are far nicer than Ferrero Rocher

    Totally! Yum

  • Really nice dedication!

  • I like sprouts but would need to be cooked though...I agree on the dedicated sprout thread!

  • I think I would prefer to find a sprout actually

    Me too!

Sprouts are far nicer than Ferrero Rocher (and that's from someone who doesn't eat much veg).

We probably need a dedicated sprout thread.

  • I think I would prefer to find a sprout actually Slight smile

  • I don't have a sprout or broccoli but Ive got mr Attitude

Drew this during my school times

Based on Mr Long one of my old teachers who had attitude against every kid-one of those teachers who made me wonder why he became a teacher because he didn't act like he enjoyed his job.

  • Thank you <3

I hope she likes it if she sees it.
